Hi Jackye and Katee,
I have really enjoyed listening to your show and I absolutely love the message of body positivity that you spread. I struggled in my youth with body image and self-love because I was overweight and had a very unhealthy relationship with food. I was also a victim of bullying and fat-shaming because of this, and so your episode with Wendy Dailey and Jon Thurmond really spoke to me/
I was writing to introduce my client, Pam Luk, as a potential podcast guest because she shares her body image and self-confidence journey with others. Growing up as a plus-size child who was active, it was hard for her to find clothes that fit. As an adult, she shares her story of confidence in building a business centered around helping children feel comfortable with their bodies and in their clothes. She also shares information on talking to our children about body diversity.
Pam Luk is the founder of Ember & Ace, an athletic wear brand for plus size kids. Growing up playing sports, she learned firsthand the importance of finding active wear that fits. After a career in project management, Pam wanted to ensure her daughter and other children are able to be comfortable in the clothes they wear for sporting activities. She went after that desire and launched a fashion line exclusively for active plus size kids. In June, Pam launched a Kickstarter campaign that was fully funded in just 17 days to help launch Ember & Ace!
Pam understands what it means to be plus size while also being an active, healthy child and adult. She wants to bring more awareness around body diversity, how to talk to your child about bodies and embracing differences and tools parents can utilize to make clothes shopping easier. Some of her expert topics include:

Pam has recently been featured on Eat The Rules, Burnt Toast, Well + Good, and more.
Please let me know if you have any questions at all and I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you and have a wonderful day.
