Sarah Morgan (she/her) is a recovering HR Executive turned DEI Leader.
She is currently the Director of Equity & Inclusion for Humareso, where she provides consulting and coaching surrounding inclusive & equitable organizational culture, and practical, people-centric leadership. Under Sarah’s leadership, Humareso was named one of the Top 15 DEI Companies to work with in 2023.
Sarah now keynotes conferences and has been featured in major publications, including the CUE Labor Relations conference, SHRM, Forge by Medium, Fast Company, Essence, CNN, and Black Enterprise Magazine. She also serves on the Board of Advisors for the UKG Workforce Institute and the Board of Directors at Marbles Kids Museum.
She is the creator and host of the Leading in Color podcast, a show centering on cultivating positive workplace experiences thru diversity, inclusion, and social consciousness. She also hosts the Inclusion Crusade on the HR Happy Hour network.
Sarah has been named to HR Executive Magazine’s Top 100 HR Influencers, Clear Company’s 50 Unstoppable Women in HR Tech, and the XpertHR UK List of Top Global HR Voices. Her blog was named to Proven’s Best HR Blogs, BambooHR’s Top HR Blogs, PayScale’s 25 Must-Read HR Blogs, and Wonolo’s 50 Best Blogs for HR Pros for consecutive years.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies with a focus on Organizational Communication and Leadership from the University of Richmond as well as a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management.
When not working, Sarah is a wife and mom with a blended family of 5 children living outside Durham NC. She enjoys mindlessly binging reality television, spending time with friends and family, reading, scrolling, eating, and long naps with her dog.
